HOME REMEDIES FOR BLACKHEADS
Baking soda is an effective treatment for blackheads as well as acne. It helps clear the skin of impurities such as debris and dirt.
STEP 1 : Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with mineral water to make a paste.
STEP 2 : Apply the paste generously on the affected skin area and massage gently.
STEP 3 : Allow it to dry for a few minutes before rising it off with warm water.
2 -CINNAMON
Cinnamon can be used to remove and prevent blackheads .
STEP 1 : Mix one tablespoon each of cinnamon powder and lemon juice with a pinch of turmeric powder.
STEP 2 : Spread it on your face , leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off.
ALTERNATIVELY : Mix one tablespoon of cinnamon powder and honey to form a paste. Apply it on the affected area before bed and leave it over night . In the morning , wash your face well with normal water.
3 -GREEN TEA
Green tea can also be used to treat blackheads .
STEP 1 : Mix one tablespoon of dry green tea leaves with a little water to make a paste .
STEP 2 : Gently scrub the paste over the affected area for two to three minutes. This scrub deep cleans oily skin and helps unclog pores.
STEP 3 : Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
NOTE : Repeat once every week or as required.
4 - EGG WHITES
Egg white helps in removing the current blackheads and tightening pores. Albumin, a key ingredients present in egg whites , is mainly responsible for this pore-tightening property . This mask will also make your skin glow.
STEP 1 : Mix the honey into the egg whites and apply the mixture on your face .
STEP 2 : Let it dry , wash off with warm water .
NOTE : Repeat this once or twice a week.
5 -HONEY
The balancing quality present in honey is good for both oily skin and blackheads. Honey hydrates as well aw tightens the skin pores, giving you clear complexion.
STEP 1 : Apply some pure honey on your face. Leave it on your for about 10 minutes.
STEP 2 : Rinse your face with lukewarm water .
6 - TURMERIC
Turmeric , which works well for minor burns , can also be used to treat blackheads.
STEP 1 : Mix some turmeric powder with two tablespoons of mint juice.
STEP 2 : Apply it on the affected areas.
STEP 3 : Allow it to dry for a few minutes and then wash the area with lukewarm water.
ALTERNATIVELY : You can also make a thick paste by mixing red sandalwood , turmeric powder and milk together . Apply it on the affected areas and after 10 minutes wash the skin with water.
